The public needs to know the truth about how the animals on chinese fur farms
were forced to live, and the way they had to die, so that decent and respectable people
will no longer be willing to wear the products of such misery.
We appeal to:
l Fashion designers to shun the use of
fur in their collections and use non-violent materials instead
l Shoppers not to buy fur garments or
accessories or clothes with fur trimmings and to to check whether designers
incorporate fur in their collections
l Consumers to rip off any real-fur
trimmings on the garments
l Fashion retailers not to stock
garments or accessories or clothes with fur trimmings
l European Parliament to ban the
import of fur from China and of garments that contain such fur
l Chinese government to urgently
introduce and enforce legislation prohibiting the skinning of live animals
l Chinese government to urgently
introduce and enforce legislation prohibiting inhumane treatment and slaughter methods and
to introduce and enforce legislation prohibiting the inhumane confinement of animals
l Finish breeders to stop exporting
